As part of the EventConnect development team, you will take a hands-on approach to backend projects, utilizing your skills in Laravel or Symfony to design and implement scalable APIs. Your role includes not only coding but also mentoring junior developers and ensuring code quality through robust practices. Engage with product and UX teams to accurately translate requirements into technical solutions while actively improving development workflows. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage backend projects from concept to production
- Create maintainable APIs focused on performance
- Oversee code quality through testing and reviews
- Provide mentorship to junior developers
- Identify and resolve technical challenges proactively
- 8+ years in PHP development
- Extensive Laravel or Symfony experience
- Proficient with SQL/RDBMS
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of asynchronous processing
