Become an Entry-Level Radiation Therapist I at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, Regina. This full-time role focuses on delivering safe and effective radiation treatments for cancer patients.
You'll be responsible for preparing and administering radiation therapy under the guidance of a Radiation Therapist II. This position is ideal for new graduates holding a Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy and possessing BLS certification. You'll engage in various treatment methods, collaborating daily with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and execute ionizing radiation treatments
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists and therapy staff
• Document treatment plans accurately in patient records
• Respect patient confidentiality in all interactions
• Maintain and use various software systems for treatment
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Radiation Therapy
• BLS certification required
• Licensed with CMRIPS and a member of CAMRT
• Familiarity with Radiation Therapy methods
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills Utilize your training to positively impact patient outcomes in a supportive clinical environment.
