- Thursday. Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Hourly Starting Rate: $21.95 At the YMCA of Three Rivers, we value work-life harmony. - Deliver 10–14 hours per week of personal training sessions, providing safe, effective, and engaging programming tailored to individual goals. Group Fitness (2 hours per week) Lead two group fitness classes per week, providing options and modifications to support participants with varying abilities and fitness levels while creating an inclusive and engaging class environment that encourages participation and builds strong member connection. Health Management (4 hours per week)
- Support the Diabetes Fit program (approximately 4 hours/week), including program delivery, monitoring participant progress, tracking outcomes, and providing proactive support to enhance health outcomes and overall program experience YMCA Champion & The Y Way (1.5
- 2 hours per week)
- Support the evaluation, onboarding, and recertification of Personal Trainers in alignment with national standards as a YMCA Champion. Rec Sports & Leagues (16 hours per week)
- Coordinate the day-to-day operational aspects of the volleyball league, including registration support, game scheduling, and score tracking, to support a well-organized and high-quality program. Support referee administration, including hiring, onboarding, shift scheduling, service quality monitoring, and payroll. Observe and report program and referee-related issues to the Adult Program Supervisor. Support the delivery and growth of additional adult rec sports and leagues (e.g., basketball, pickleball, badminton), including program coordination, participant support, and on-floor presence during key program times. You will work a Sunday to Thursday schedule, providing consistent presence during pea operational hours including Monday to Thursday evenings from 12:00pm
- 8:00pm and Sundays from 8:00am-4:00pm., P ersonal Training Certification Group Fitness Certification (or willingness to obtain within the first year) Standard First Aid with CPR-C Post-secondary education in Recreation and Leisure, Health Promotion, Kinesiology or related field is an asset You will bring effective communication skills and a people-first approach that values respect, empathy, and inclusion, enabling you to build strong relationships with staff, members, and community partners. You will bring confidence in delivering personal training and group fitness, including adapting exercises and providing safe modifications for participants of varying abilities and fitness levels. You will bring strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to support and motivate staff, volunteers, and participants. You will bring a commitment to the YMCA’s mission and values, a passion for community, and an acceptable Police Vulnerable Sector Check. This role requires regular travel across the region, which may not always be easily accessible through public transit. The employee must be able to arrange their transportation to these sites. A valid G driver’s license and full-time vehicle access are strongly recommended.
