Part-Time Recreation Aide at Summerland

Become a key contributor at Summerland Seniors Village as a Part-Time Recreation Aide. This role involves assisting in activity planning, implementation, and evaluation to foster a supportive environment for residents. At West Coast Seniors Housing Management, we prioritize the well-being of our residents and staff. As a part-time Recreation Aide, you'll work from Tuesday to Thursday, focusing on enhancing recreational programs tailored to the interests of our community members. Collaboration and strong relationships are essential to creating memorable experiences. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and evaluating recreation programs
• Promote established outings, crafts, and social events
• Document and report resident changes to supervisors
• Maintain safety through accident prevention and proper procedures
• Support volunteers and community programming initiatives

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education with a Recreation Diploma preferred
• Previous experience in a senior-focused environment
• Must pass a criminal record check
• Valid Class 4 BC driver’s license required
• Good computer skills for record maintenance
