Occupational Therapist in Rocky View Schools

Become an integral part of student success as an Occupational Therapist with Rocky View Schools in Alberta. This full-time position offers the chance to enhance educational development for students with complex needs. Rocky View Schools is seeking two full-time Occupational Therapists to start immediately until June 29, 2027. As a member of the Learning Supports team, you will facilitate students' participation in school activities, develop therapeutic strategies, and support teachers. Your role will emphasize collaboration, assessment, and intervention in an inclusive educational environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy services during classroom activities
• Promote independence in students' everyday tasks
• Facilitate skill development through engaging activities
• Write assessment reports for parents and professionals
• Collaborate with learning support teams for individualized plans

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current registration with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
• Minimum 2 years' experience with children with complex needs
• Strong problem-solving and assessment skills
• Proven ability to work both independently and as a team member
