Engage in a crucial role providing comprehensive nursing care for individuals in crisis. This Registered Nurse position is essential for delivering effective support within a diverse community setting.
In this role, you will offer nursing care through the Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence Program. The position requires strong assessment skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various healthcare professionals. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the emotional and physical safety of patients while driving best practices in nursing care.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver culturally sensitive care in outpatient settings
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on patient needs
• Address immediate crisis situations with professionalism
• Maintain strict adherence to hygiene and safety protocols
• Participate in legal proceedings as required
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses as an RN
• Minimum of two years nursing experience in relevant fields
• Basic CPR, IV skills necessary for the role
• Willingness to complete specialized training in SANE
• Ability to work respectfully with diverse populations Make a difference in your community by offering compassionate care and guidance to those in need.
