Part-time Psychiatrist

Join CMHA York Region as a part-time psychiatrist dedicated to mental health and recovery services. Provide critical assessments and treatment plans both in-person and remotely. In this role, you will focus on delivering quality psychiatric services as part of a collaborative team. This part-time opportunity (10-14 hours per week) allows for flexible working environments, essential for reaching clients effectively. Key Responsibilities
• Conduct detailed psychiatric assessments for diverse clients
• Coordinate care with nursing and support staff
• Prescribe treatments and monitor therapeutic responses
• Ensure documentation of client records is up to date
• Engage with clients during hospital admissions when necessary

Requirements:
• Licensed with the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Ontario
• Doctoral degree is essential
• Experience with Assertive Community Treatment Teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
