Product Verification Specialist – Electrical, Waterloo, ON We are looking for a Product Verification Specialist – Electrical to join our Precision Systems & Solutions Community and contribute to the development and verification of VueReal’s advanced MicroLED and display technologies. In this role, you will support electrical characterization, product verification, troubleshooting, and test-method development across products, subsystems, and engineering prototypes as they progress through product development. Plan and execute electrical characterization and verification activities for products, subsystems, and engineering prototypes as they progress through product development. Develop practical, repeatable electrical test methods and evaluate the integrity of measurements, test fixtures, and test systems, including repeatability, stability, noise, and potential measurement artifacts. Characterize electrical performance, operating margins, and boundary conditions using appropriate electrical measurements and stress conditions. Investigate and reproduce electrical anomalies, collect objective evidence, and work collaboratively with electrical, hardware, firmware, and software engineers to support root‑cause investigation and design improvement. Document test methods, configurations, results, observations, and conclusions clearly and accurately. Collaborate with test‑system and automation specialists to improve measurement efficiency, consistency, and repeatability. Support verification and validation activities for R&D projects and, where required, production and operational activities. Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline. Approximately 3+ years of relevant hands‑on experience in electrical product verification, hardware validation, electronics testing, or a related environment. Strong practical knowledge of electrical measurement and troubleshooting using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, electronic loads, and signal‑generation equipment. Solid understanding of analog and digital electronics, power, grounding, signal integrity, and electrical measurement fundamentals. Ability to interpret test results and distinguish product behaviour from measurement‑system or test‑system artifacts. Experience developing, improving, or qualifying test methods and analyzing measurement variation and repeatability. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to investigate and reproduce technical issues systematically. Ability to produce clear technical documentation, including test procedures, configurations, results, and conclusions. Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams in a product‑development environment. Experience with test automation and/or data‑analysis tools such as Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or TestStand is considered an asset. Experience with environmental testing, ESD, EMC/EMI testing, or similar product‑verification activities is considered an asset. Experience within semiconductor, display, electronics, or advanced hardware‑development environments is considered an asset. You take ownership of your work, continuously look for ways to add value, and are comfortable working in a fast‑paced development environment. You enjoy challenging assumptions, solving difficult technical problems, and collaborating with fellow Vue Masters. A fun, collaborative, and creative environment with a culture focused on inclusiveness, fairness, and transparency. Game‑changing opportunities are rare, and we believe we are working on one at VueReal. We take tremendous pride in our team and its achievements, including being the first team to demonstrate a 7,000 PPI microLED array and later 30,000 PPI, developing highly efficient sub‑10‑micrometre microLEDs, developing a true printing‑based microLED solution, and being recognized as one of Canada’s top scale‑up companies.
