Full-Time IT Support Technician

Yukon University is hiring an IT Support Technician to enhance technology services on campus. This full-time role focuses on technical support for faculty, staff, and students, ensuring technology reliability. As part of the Information Technology & Learning Commons at Ayamdigut (Whitehorse) Campus, you will provide vital support through troubleshooting and resolving various technology issues. From audiovisual tools to computer systems, you will ensure seamless operation for teaching and research activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems promptly
• Install, configure, and maintain office technology
• Support technology updates and new installations
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors on solutions
• Keep detailed records of service requests and responses

• Diploma in a relevant IT field or equivalent experience
• Minimum two years in technical support roles
• Expertise in hardware and software troubleshooting
• Strong communication and service orientation
• Experience in complex tech environments is a plus
