Materials Planner at Alexander Dennis

Alexander Dennis, part of NFI Group, is seeking a detail-oriented Materials Planner to enhance our procurement team. You will be instrumental in planning production orders and ensuring supplier deliveries meet our commitments. Additional responsibilities include managing material shortages and optimizing the Bill of Materials to Purchase Orders process. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan all production purchase order requirements for North America
• Validate supplier delivery commitments against production needs
• Expedite material shortages and coordinate with suppliers
• Enter purchase orders in Syspro ensuring accuracy
• Provide pricing and quoting support for materials

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain or Administration
• 2-5 years' experience in materials planning or purchasing
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills
