Job Description:

• Perform various maintenance and repair jobs inside and outside all installations of the Health Centre, including lodging units and transits;
• Maintain the grounds;
• Repair electrical appliances;
• Assist specialized workers in their tasks when needed;
• Knowledge of carpentry is an asset;
• Keep work areas tidy after tasks completion;
• Requisition materials necessary for tasks.

Specific Requirements:

• Bilingualism (Inuktitut / English or Inuktitut / French, written and spoken);
• Experience in building maintenance and carpentry (painting, repairing surfaces, furniture, floor coverings, etc.);
• Reliability, sense of responsibility, teamwork;
• Organizational skills, autonomy, and diligence;
• Availability to travel along the coast;
• Valid driver’s license.

Weekly premiums include:

• High cost of living: $74.17;
• Isolation: $227.69;
• Retention: $34.78.
