VIU Food Service Worker Role

• Provide high-quality service and support in the cafeteria
• Process transactions with precision using the POS system
• Maintain sanitation standards of dining and service areas
• Portion food and restock service stations as needed
• Help with catering events setup and cleanup

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of food service experience
• Knowledge of computerized point-of-sale systems
• Certifications in FoodSafe Level I and Serving It Right
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
