Lead the finance function as the Accounting Manager with Adi Development in Burlington, Ontario. This hands-on role involves month-end close, reporting, and team leadership in a forward-thinking company. Reporting to the Controller, you will manage daily accounting operations, including financial reporting, payroll, and audit support over various corporate and project entities. With a focus on innovation, you will design efficient processes and lead a team of accounting professionals while setting objectives that align with corporate strategy.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and develop accounting team members, ensuring skill growth
• Manage the month-end close and prepare financial statements
• Oversee bank and debt reconciliations for corporate projects
• Supervise compliance with tax and payroll regulations
• Drive lean accounting initiatives and utilize AI for efficiency
Requirements:
• Completed CPA designation required; no in-progress candidates
• Minimum seven years in accounting, with two years of leadership
• Experience in real estate development or construction accounting
• Proficient in Excel, Power Query, and financial modeling
