Collaboration with your colleagues and direct engagement with collection materials are essential for your success in this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and managing archive metadata
- Transform and optimise metadata formats for usability
- Conduct quality assurance checks on catalogued materials
- Update and publish information in catalogue systems
- Manage physical handling of archives and manuscripts
- Experience in archival management and metadata systems
- Detail-oriented approach for quality control tasks
- Ability to lift and move collection items safely
- Familiarity with relevant archival practices
- Completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service check required
