Machine Operator (Laser Cutting)

- Weekend Shift (Wednesday-Saturday) Global Drain Technologies is a leading manufacturer of engineered drainage systems for the food and beverage industry, industrial facilities, and urban landscape projects. We’re looking for a motivated machine operator to join our production team Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Laser Machine Operator is mainly responsible for operating the laser cutting machine to cut stainless steel metal. They ensure the machine is set up correctly, monitors the cutting process and inspects the finished product for quality and accuracy. Ensure health and safety is a priority by following company policies and procedures including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE); Configure laser machine with appropriate settings based on the material, thickness, and desired cut specifications; Load materials onto the machine bed, ensuring proper alignment and clamping; Complete daily crane and forklift inspections; Load and unload material using crane and forklift machines; Inspect, verify and organize incoming materials; Perform quality checks to ensure that established quality standards are being maintained; Process production orders within our ERP system.
