Lookout Housing and Health Society is seeking a passionate Tenant Support Worker for its Drake Road Supportive Housing facility. You will assist adults facing housing difficulties by providing education, crisis intervention, and developing personalized service plans. The position entails flexible scheduling to accommodate shift changes while adhering to health and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate tenant intakes and develop service plans
• Provide ongoing support and crisis intervention
• Ensure all basic needs are efficiently met
• Maintain all documentation and evaluative data
• Collaborate with other support staff and volunteers
Requirements:
• Diploma in Community Social Service mandatory
• Two years of relevant experience required
• First Aid and Food Safe certifications beneficial
• Criminal Record Clearance for Vulnerable Sector required
• Be clean-shaven for respirator fit testing As a Tenant Support Worker, your skills will play a crucial role in assisting tenants toward healthier living outcomes.
