Lead Hog Farm Supervisor Role

Take charge of hog farming operations at Morris Piglets Ltd. as a Lead Hog Farm Supervisor in Lowe Farm, Manitoba. This permanent, full-time position includes responsibilities for quality control, team management, and animal care. Reporting to the CEO, the Lead Hog Farm Supervisor will manage the operations of Morris Piglets North, which hosts 2600 sows and piglets. You’ll be responsible for supervising breeding activities, enforcing safety procedures, and maintaining production records. A successful candidate will have supervisory experience in hog operations and strong problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and lead tasks of production technicians
• Supervise breeding programs and maintain welfare standards
• Oversee equipment and infrastructure maintenance
• Ensure compliance with bio-security measures
• Maintain quality control and food safety procedures

Requirements:

• Proven supervisory experience in hog operations
• Familiarity with breeding and farrowing procedures
• Communication skills in English essential
• High school diploma; post-secondary education an asset
