FULLTIME PARTS COUNTER PERSON

Transdev is now hiring a Parts Clerk for our Kamloops location Receive, inspect, and properly store parts, supplies, and materials. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all parts transactions are properly recorded. Monitor inventory levels and identify parts requiring replenishment. Assist with cycle counts and annual physical inventory counts. Investigate inventory discrepancies and report significant variances. Identify obsolete, excess, or slow-moving inventory. Maintain proper organization, labelling, and housekeeping within the parts area. Ensure parts are stored in accordance with manufacturer, safety, and environmental requirements. Assist with tracking parts ordered for buses undergoing major repairs or awaiting parts. Support the Maintenance Department with the administration of accident documentation and claims. Track accident-damaged units from initial assessment through repair and return to service. Maintain a claims tracking log and provide updates to the Maintenance Manager as required. Ensure accident-related invoices and repair documentation are appropriately coded and associated with the applicable unit/WO. Escalate outstanding or delayed claims to the Maintenance Manager. Schedule is Tuesday to Friday from 12:00PM to 8:30PM and Saturday from 10AM to 6:30PM. Training schedule will be Monday to Friday from 7:30AM to 4:00PM.
