Exciting opportunity for a Platform and Infrastructure Engineer to join Q-Block Computing in Ottawa. Build and maintain sophisticated quantum systems infrastructure in a full-time, on-site position.
Combining engineering expertise across embedded Linux, networking, and software development, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the systems that power Q-Block's technology. Ideal candidates will bring at least four years of experience and contribute to the platform's reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain embedded Linux system images
• Design multi-tiered LAN architectures with VLAN and QoS
• Implement DNS, DHCP, and core network services effectively
• Create a comprehensive management application for system oversight
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Python and Bash
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field
• Minimum 4 years in embedded Linux, networking or web development
• Strong Linux systems knowledge and networking architecture skills
• Familiarity with modern software frameworks
• Expertise in Python for automation tasks Join Q-Block Computing and contribute to transforming quantum technology through effective infrastructure engineering.
