- Afternoon shift
* Established in 1990, Label Design Ltd. is a Guelph based SQF certified manufacturer of pressure sensitive labels. We are looking for an experienced flexo-press operator with a strong work ethic to join our team. The press operator will be responsible for the efficient operation of multi-color printing press equipment to exacting standards for quality in accordance with customer requirements and expectations. *Primary responsibilities will include:* Â
· Receiving and reviewing customer specifications as per documentation provided to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, rollers, etc. are used. Â
· Operating the press to produce product in accordance with customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency. Â
· Maintaining consistent quality during the production run. Critical quality checks include: copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion. Â
· Complying with all SQF, GMP, Health and Safety, and company procedures Â
· Inputting all required information into the processing system for material usage and time in an accurate and prompt manner. *Requirements* Â
· Minimum of 5 years operating a label manufacturing flexo printing press. Â
· Experience with Mark Andy presses a strong asset Â
· Strong work ethic Â
· Good mechanical, technical, and troubleshooting abilities Â
· Good organization and inspection skills Â
· Computer literate Days 7am-4:30pm Mon
- Thursday and 7am 11am Friday. No rotation.
Job Type
s: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $27.00-$33.00 per hour
