Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract
- Air brakes certification is mandatory.
- Forklift operation experience required
- Physically capable of loading and unloading millwork at job sites, including the ability to lift 50–95 lbs.
- Strong organization, planning, staging, checklist, paperwork, and follow-through skills
- Professional, customer-focused communication with supervisors, site teams, clients, and vendors
- Good problem-solving ability and a positive, reliable attitude
Responsibilities:
- When not driving, build shipments, stage materials, and load trucks for upcoming deliveries
- Deliver millwork locally and within the province, with occasional overnight travel as required
- Load and unload trucks safely using a forklift or manual handling where appropriate
- Complete required logbooks, delivery paperwork, checklists, and documentation accurately
- Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and enroute vehicle inspections
- Follow Motive protocols
- Monitor vehicle condition, maintenance needs, and communicate issues promptly
- Coordinate with supervisors and project teams to support timely, organized deliveries Wage Range: $25-28/ hour based on experience Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with occasional weekends, and early starts as required Benefits: Extended health benefits; internal and external education opportunities
