We’re united by a shared commitment to excellent and equitable health care. Position Overview Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Coordinator or designate, the Trades Helper 2
- Carpentry is responsible for: assisting the carpenters with their duties including repairing flooring, doors, windows and furniture and woodwork on walls; installing and maintaining handrails; constructing millwork, walls and partitions; maintaining accurate documentation; assisting with maintaining stock control; and performing other related duties as assigned. Experience Four (4) years’ carpentry experience. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Grade 12. Proficiency in trade practices will be tested. Certification/Licensure/Registration Not Applicable Qualifications And Skills Good interpersonal skills. Good communication skills. Ability to understand and follow trade requirements and regulations. Neat and tidy appearance. Physical Requirements Manual dexterity. Physically able to carry and move loads up to 34 kgs.
