Job Summary
This position fulfils vital funder claiming processes and finance functions for
the organization, and primarily provides support to the Finance and Office
Manager for the Pathways Programs at Radius.
Specifically, this role would support finance and vender coordination duties for
the Pathways to Housing, Pregnancy Pathways, and Shelter Outreach Housing Team
Essential to the function of our administrative team, the Finance Assistant
processes vendor payments, organizes accounts payable, accounts receivable,
completes monthly claims to funders, assists with human resources, and supply
and equipment procurement practices. The worker will also complete other
administrative projects as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Processes invoices and accounts payable payments in a timely manner
* Processes client payments and GL entries and/or adjustments as needed
* Code and distribute invoices for payment approval utilizing approved budgets
* Reconcile and maintain all vendor records and accounts
* Prepare and invoice internal charges for overhead and admin fees
* Prepare and make bank deposits
* Reconcile and process petty cash
* Prepare and update client statement of accounts
* Filing and record keeping for all financial documents
* Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
* Prepare funder claims and ad hoc reports as required
* Other duties as assigned Qualifications
* Relevant accounting education and office experience
* Proficiency in INTACCT (minimum of 3 years' experience)
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Security Clearance Skills and Abilities
* Organized, accurate, thorough and able to monitor work for quality and accuracy
* Manages time effectively and is able to prioritize workload
* Works independently and collaboratively, flexible
* Supports a respectful workplace
