Machine Operator – Afternoon Shift Shift: Full-Time, Monday to FridayHours: 2:50pm to 11:00pm Pay Range: $20.08hr to $22.11 per hour plus $0.60 /hr shift premium  Position Overview Machine Operators play a critical role in ensuring safety, quality, and continuous improvement at Poly-Nova Technologies. We are currently seeking a full-time Machine Operator (Night Shift)  This is an open position.

Key Responsibilities
Load press/machine with correct rubber Operate injection molding machines and presses Closely inspect parts within cycle time by following quality inspection instructions and alerts, removing flash  Complete shift paperwork: machine logs, scrap sheets, production reports, etc Package finished parts as per required quantity; label and prepare for shipping, place on skid Notify Supervisor or Lead Hand of any unusual amounts of scrap, including new/unusual defects Maintain traceability and identification of parts by confirming correct labels are placed on boxes Ensure fabric is pulled and sprues are inspected for mold foul, or orther rubber related issues  General Tasks (if relevant) Maintain accurate records related to the activity of the shift Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives  Communication of any issues during shift overlap to incoming Machine Operator General housekeeping: sweeping area, removing build-up of rubber and parts spillage in work area Qualifications, Requirements & Competencies High school (Secondary School) diploma  1+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with SOPs and EH&S standards. Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, policies, memos, and quality alerts. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Competent to operate press equipment: automated and manual Physical & Technical Requirements General mathematical and mechanical aptitude. Ability to wear required PPE Ability to lift 15–35 lbs (full cases of product and insert trays). Ability to stand for extended periods, with opportunities to sit during inspection tasks. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
