  • Manage and maintain financial records and bookkeeping systems for the company.
  • Record daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Prepare and maintain various financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely and accurate payment processing and invoicing.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to support other financial tasks and projects as needed.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and tools.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Experience:

  • Prior experience in managing financial records for small to medium-sized businesses.
  • Experience with payroll processing and tax preparation.
  • Familiarity with Canadian accounting principles and regulations.
