About the Opportunity
The Order Cancellation Specialist will ensure all customer cancellation fulfillment requirements are met by working directly with internal functional groups and end clients.
This role will facilitate timely notification of customer cancellations to all impacted operations teams, accurate identification of billing lines impacted by customer cancellations, visibility of future-dated cancellations to accurately forecast loss of revenue, and synchronization of production and billing system cancellations.
What You'll Get to Do
Facilitate gathering necessary fulfillment information with internal stakeholders and end clients to ensure customer cancellation details are accurately captured for entry in multiple systems.
Take ownership and responsibility for all customer cancellation requests by establishing work activities and validating completion across multiple operations teams. This includes escalating incomplete activities to ensure timely and accurate cancellation occurs within both production and billing.
Execute cancellations within the finance system according to department guidelines, ensuring accuracy and controllership throughout the process.
Identify gaps in processes and help translate requirements to business stakeholders to drive improved accuracy, efficiency, and controllership of customer cancellation activities within the organization.
Follow best-practice problem-solving methodology to identify root causes or engage internal resources to isolate challenges that occur in the production or billing environment.
Participate in the development of procedure documentation to ensure consistent execution of processes within the department.
Document customer cancellation activities according to departmental guidelines using company case-tracking tools, procedures, and templates, as appropriate, to drive improvements in short

Experience working across multiple systems with the ability to multitask. Proven ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive disposition. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
