- up generator, motors, fans, plumbing and electrical systems Monitor, maintain, trouble shoot and repair banana / fruit ripening rooms, and related equipment Maintenance of all tools, parts and equipment used within the RSC, ensuring adequate stock on hand for critical equipment failures Complete daily logs and preventative maintenance schedules as required. Maintain a safe, clean, professional work environment always, utilizing Sobeys 5S Standards Adhere to all company policies and procedures Other duties as assigned #RSCWEST What you bring to the table: Knowledge and direct working experience in various building systems; boilers, compressors, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems Ability to read blueprints, schematics, instructions, control sequences with a clear understanding of local codes, regulations and bylaws Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite; Word Excel, including automated controlled refrigerated systems Knowledge and direct working experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of banana/fruit ripening rooms Other related mechanical trades licensing or
skills:
welding, electrician, millwright, plumber, refrigeration mechanic an asset Valid minimum 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate and License valid in Province of employment A minimum of 1-2 years Power Engineering experience, with an emphasis on large ammonia / glycol refrigeration systems
