Job Overview:
The Manager, Corporate Strategy & Acquisition supports executive decision-making by translating market insights, strategic priorities, and acquisition opportunities into actionable recommendations, financial analyses, and leadership-ready materials. This role serves as a key partner to senior leadership in driving Give & Go's long-term growth agenda through strategic planning, market intelligence, investment evaluation, executive communications, and M&A activities.
The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities, financial modeling expertise, and executive storytelling skills to help shape strategic decisions and support the evaluation of organic and inorganic growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and refinement of Give & Go's long-term strategic plan including owning the 5 year long range financial plan Develop executive and Board level presentations, business cases, and decision-support materials to inform strategic priorities and investments. Build and maintain financial models, business forecasts, valuation analyses, and investment cases to support strategic decision-making. Monitor customer, category, competitive, and industry trends, providing actionable insights on opportunities, risks, and market developments. Support the development, evaluation of G&G’s M&A strategy through identification, screening, strategic assessment, due diligence, closing, and integration of transactions Partner with leaders across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to evaluate growth & cost savings opportunities, capital investments, and strategic initiatives. Translate complex analyses into clear recommendations and compelling narratives that support executive decision-making and enterprise alignment. The Recipe for Success: University degree in Business or a related field 3-5 years of experience in corporate strategy, corporate development, M&A, consulting, or a related strategic role Advanced financial modelling skills Exceptional PowerPoint and executive presentation development capabilities. Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across multiple functions. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills Strong business acumen/decision making skills to review research/data and translate that into actionable insight Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines. What Will Differentiate You Experience in consumer packaged goods, food manufacturing, retail, private equity, investment banking, or consulting, financial advisory. Previous exposure to M&A transactions, due diligence, valuation, or corporate development activities. Experience preparing materials for executive leadership teams, boards of directors, or investors. Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on financial and operational analysis.
