Job Description
- Diploma or degree in Environmental Engineering/Technology, Water & Wastewater Technology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Power Engineering.
- TSSA-recognized Power Engineer Certificate (3rd or 2nd) Class.
- Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification (Class II–IV) or eligibility to obtain.
- Additional training in confined space, WHMIS, and process safety is an asset.
- 5–10 years experience in industrial wastewater treatment, utilities, or power plant operations.
- Supervisory/leadership experience in a unionized or industrial environment.
- Experience with SCADA/DCS control systems and process optimization.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, boiler safety codes, and reliability practices.
