OVERVIEW: PMC Energy is seeking a proven leader in the HVAC industry to join its senior leadership team as Service Manager . Based in Halifax, this role will oversee our HVAC service operations across Nova Scotia, driving growth, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer experiences. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a growing division while contributing to PMC's mission of delivering outstanding, environmentally responsible energy solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the HVAC service team to achieve excellence in safety, performance, and customer satisfaction Oversee day-to-day operations, including service administration, dispatch, invoicing, and work-in-progress reviews Drive business development through preventative maintenance agreements, repair quotations, and technician-led opportunities Conduct site visits, quality checks, and safety inspections to ensure high standards of delivery Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers Collaborate with directors, the general manager, and ownership on company strategy and growth initiatives Monitor KPIs, financial performance, and present operational updates to senior leadership Mentor and coach staff to strengthen capabilities and achieve departmental goals SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 2 years of service management experience in the HVAC industry (preferred) Skilled trade certificate, AEC/DEP, or equivalent education (preferred) Strong leadership and team development skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities Knowledge of preventative maintenance, repair estimating, and HVAC operations Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with service management systems Ability to travel within Nova Scotia as required Self-motivated with a commitment to innovation and sustainability WHY JOIN PMC ENERGY?
