Clerk 3 Financial Stream duties will vary depending on the position. Duties may include:

Processing financial transactions, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Preparing and processing invoices, receipts, and payments.

Entering and maintaining timekeeping records and providing payroll-related support.

Acting as a financial clerical resource for branch/division staff by responding to inquiries and resolving financial issues.

Maintaining confidential financial information and records.

Providing general clerical and administrative support as required.

Qualifications:

Essential:

Completion of a post-secondary program in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field. An equivalent combination of education, training and related experience may be considered.

Experience performing financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting and/or maintaining financial records.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing workloads and meet deadlines.

Demonstrated ability to accurately process and maintain financial information with a high degree of thoroughness and attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners.

Demonstrated ability to maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive financial and personal information.

Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, or equivalent software programs.

Effective written communication skills, including the ability to prepare and edit correspondence and other written materials.

Effective verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and professionally communicate with internal and external contacts.

Experience interpreting and applying policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience using SAP (Financial Module) or an equivalent financial management software.

Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate fluently in French
