Join Alberta Infrastructure as a Maintenance Service Worker II in Edmonton. This permanent full-time role prioritizes maintenance duties, including the set-up and takedown of events on the Legislature Grounds.
In this position, you'll report to the Labor Supervisor and perform essential maintenance functions supporting government facilities. Expect to engage in semi-skilled tasks such as moving furniture and maintaining safe, effective work environments. You will also collaborate with various stakeholders during programs and events, ensuring successful operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of exterior signage
- Communicate effectively with vendors and clients
- Perform sidewalk cleaning and maintenance activities
- Maintain updated safety records and compliance
- Help prepare and maintain seasonal facilities
Requirements:
- 1 year of related experience
- High school education preferred
- Proficient knowledge of maintenance operations
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Capable of lifting and performing demanding tasks
