Step into the role of HSE Advisor with Vancouver Pile Driving Ltd. (VanPile) in Prince Rupert, BC, and contribute to a major construction project. This fly-in, fly-out position is an excellent opportunity to strengthen health and safety practices.
The role, offered on a 12-month contract, features a rotation of 14 days on followed by 7 days off, with company-covered travel and accommodations. As an HSE Advisor, you will collaborate with project teams to promote safety culture, monitor compliance, and lead training initiatives to ensure a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate worker safety orientations and training
- Assist in compliance tracking and record management
- Conduct safety audits and inspections regularly
- Review safety policies, providing recommendations
- Lead the response to incidents and accidents
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of HSE experience in construction
- Relevant post-secondary education required
- Knowledgeable in WorkSafeBC regulations
- Proven audit and assessment skills in safety
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
