Own technical SEO and search strategy remotely for roofing clients at Blacksmith Agency, using audits, roadmaps, and ranking analysis.
As SEO Manager, Roofing, you serve as the strategic voice for a book of roofing contractor clients. You will guide technical SEO, keyword strategy, content priorities, and client reporting. The work spans classic organic results, Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity. Writers and AI produce drafts while you make search decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, and architecture
- Build keyword strategies and on-page optimization priorities
- Guide content priorities with writers and AI
- Improve visibility across organic and AI search
- Report through GA4 and Search Console
Requirements:
- Three or more years of hands-on SEO experience
- Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush fluency
- Agency experience managing several clients simultaneously
- Clear spoken English for live calls with US clients
- Roofing or similar multi-location SEO experience is advantageous
