Join LAPORTE as a Refrigeration Engineer, leveraging your expertise in a hybrid environment across Canada. This role focuses on designing refrigeration systems for vital industries.
With 1 to 2 years of experience in industrial refrigeration, you'll be involved in the design, analysis, and implementation of systems for food & beverage and biotech processes. Working under the supervision of the Lead Engineer, you will enhance project outcomes through effective collaboration and communication across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze refrigeration systems collaboratively
- Conduct CAD drafting in AutoCAD for system designs
- Perform site inspections of refrigeration systems
- Develop safety analyses and SOPs
- Organize and maintain comprehensive project records
Requirements:
- 1 to 2 years of relevant refrigeration experience
- Provincial Engineering Association membership
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Plant3D
- Understanding of refrigeration codes
- Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
