Maximize your heavy machinery skills as a Heavy Equipment Operator. This role focuses on transport and operation of various equipment, with an emphasis on safety and maintenance.
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will transport machinery to job sites and operate skid loaders, mini excavators, and pay loaders. Precision and safety are essential while conducting grading and pipe work, ensuring general upkeep, and following strict safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various heavy equipment including skid loaders and mini excavators
- Transport machinery using float trucks to job locations
- Load and unload equipment efficiently
- Perform general maintenance and upkeep on machinery
- Adhere to safety guidelines to maintain a secure working environment
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license required
- Previous experience with heavy equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team
- Capable of extended periods sitting while operating machinery
