Become a Dietary Aide at Norview Lodge in Simcoe, Ontario. This role focuses on nutritious meal preparation and serving while ensuring a safe and pleasant dining atmosphere.
In this Permanent Part Time position with Norfolk County, you will prepare meals while complying with health regulations and prioritize resident satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include setting up dining areas, maintaining cleanliness, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide quality care. Participation in educational opportunities will further your career development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present meals attractively
- Set up steam tables and dining areas
- Clean kitchen and dining facilities regularly
- Follow dietary notes for resident meals
- Support new staff during orientation
Requirements:
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Safe Food Handler Certification required
- Enrollment in Food Service Worker program within 3 years
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
