Herc Rentals is seeking a full-time Field Service Mechanic A who will take the lead in ensuring fleet reliability for customers. This role involves executing preventative maintenance and diagnosing complex equipment issues independently at various locations. With a focus on customer relationships, you will educate clients on equipment care to prevent downtimes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on Herc fleet at job sites
- Conduct oil changes, tire replacements, and repairs
- Diagnose heavy equipment and various systems issues
- Recondition parts to ensure equipment safety
- Maintain clean work areas and produce detailed reports
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and tools
- Valid driver's license for job site travel
- Strong technical understanding of schematics
- Must own essential tools for repairs
