Become a key part of Sekisui Diagnostics as an Inventory Planner. This role focuses on procuring and managing inventory to support manufacturing needs within a dynamic environment.
Sekisui Diagnostics is seeking an Associate Buyer/Planner to oversee inventory planning and procurement processes. You will collaborate closely with Manufacturing and internal teams to monitor inventory, sourcing lead times, and production forecasts. Strong negotiation and customer service skills are essential to effectively manage supplier relationships and resolve material supply issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and expedite inventory materials for production
- Monitor inventory levels and sourcing lead times
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers
- Maintain accurate supplier and product data
- Support cost savings initiatives and resolve supply issues
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in related field
- Three years of planning or buying experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Detail-oriented with effective time management
