Well, what about the team? We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior EUC Engineer to join our global IT team.
This is a dedicated End User Computing role focused on designing, delivering, securing and continuously improving the Windows and macOS endpoint experience. The role combines hands-on senior support with engineering ownership of endpoint platforms, builds, policies, applications and automation; it is not a general systems administration position.
Key responsibilities include:
Acting as a senior escalation point for complex EUC issues and providing high-quality support to end users, VIPs and senior stakeholders
Engineering and improving endpoint management, deployment, patching and automation capabilities
Using Intune, Windows Autopilot, Jamf and ManageEngine Endpoint Central to deliver secure, consistent and reliable devices
The successful candidate will bring strong endpoint expertise, sound judgement, excellent communication skills and the ability to lead technical improvements in a fast-changing environment.
Senior EUC Support and Service Ownership Act as a senior escalation point for complex Windows, macOS, application, peripheral and workplace technology issues, driving incidents through to resolution.
Provide professional onsite and remote support to end users, including VIPs and senior stakeholders, with clear communication and strong ownership.
Manage, prioritise and update requests in Jira Service Management, meeting service expectations and following incident, problem and escalation processes.
Coach colleagues, share knowledge and contribute to the development of consistent support standards across the EUC team.
Endpoint Engineering and Management Engineer, maintain and continuously improve Windows 11 and macOS builds, policies, configuration profiles and compliance baselines.
Administer and optimise Intune, Windows Autopilot, Jamf and ManageEngine Endpoint Central for enrolment, provisioning, configuration, application delivery, patching, scripting and reporting.
Package, test and deploy applications and updates, using automation to improve reliability, security and the end-user experience.
Troubleshoot complex endpoint, enrolment, policy, authentication and performance issues, working with identity, infrastructure and security teams where required.
Device Lifecycle and Standards Maintain endpoint standards and technical documentation covering builds, configurations, applications, support procedures and known issues.
Support the full device lifecycle from procurement and deployment through refresh, asset accuracy, secure return and decommissioning.
Use endpoint data, reporting and service trends to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
Projects and Technology Delivery Lead or contribute to EUC projects, pilots and global rollouts, including requirements, testing, deployment, communication and transition into support.
Evaluate new endpoint technologies and features, producing practical recommendations aligned with business, security and support requirements.
Collaborate with regional IT teams and technical stakeholders to deliver consistent solutions across office and remote-user environments.
Security and Compliance Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure endpoints meet organisational policies, security baselines and regulatory requirements.
Support vulnerability remediation, encryption, endpoint protection, patch compliance and audit evidence across Windows and macOS estates.
Workplace Technology Provide senior-level support for meeting-room, AV and video-conferencing technologies and help improve the reliability of workplace experiences.
And what are we looking for? At least 5 years of experience in End User Computing, endpoint engineering or a similar role, including experience operating at senior or escalation level.
Strong hands-on experience supporting and engineering Windows 11 and macOS in an enterprise environment.
Advanced practical experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot, including enrolment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, application deployment and troubleshooting.
Strong practical experience with Jamf Pro; experience with Jamf Connect or macOS identity integration is desirable.
