Operate a front-end loader at Bedford Ready Mix's Dartmouth plant, using material handling skills in a full-time, outdoor setting. Support safe, consistent concrete production.
As a Loader Operator with Bedford Ready Mix and OSCO Concrete, you will move aggregates, maintain stockpiles, and support plant operations. The position requires heavy equipment experience, mechanical aptitude, and a strong safety commitment. Your work supports daily Ready-Mix Concrete production through accurate blends and dependable equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport aggregates between stockpiles, bins, and hoppers
- Maintain accurate material blends for concrete production
- Inspect, clean, and maintain equipment
- Organize yards, manage inventory, and complete housekeeping
- Communicate with operators, drivers, and team members
Requirements:
- Previous heavy equipment operating experience preferred
- Ready-Mix Concrete or aggregate experience considered an asset
- Reliable transportation for early shift starts
- Ability to work outdoors and lift 50 pounds
- Availability for flexible hours and required overtime
