If so, this may be the role you have been looking for. Our client in the Mississauga area is recruiting a Divisional Controller to oversee and support a key area of their business. This position works closely with the business leaders and GM.The Divisional Controller will report to the Vice President of Finance and will be a key business leader responsible for Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, cost control, asset management and business decision support for the division. The Divisional Controller will collaborate with senior management to position the business for financial growth and to ensure that the company meets or exceeds its financial commitments. Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and effective financial processes, systems and controls to ensure compliance with Corporate policies and procedures.TMGMSJob Requirements: Undergraduate Degree – Finance or Accounting, Professional Designation (CPA CA, CPA CMA)7+ years of progressive Accounting and Finance experienceDemonstrate the ability to thoroughly understand a business's strategy and determine linkages to financial initiatives and driversAbility to effectively manage people, projects, and tasks ensuring appropriate responsiveness and priorityStrong communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization and influence processes across multiple functions and stakeholdersHighly computer proficient, including advanced capabilities with ExcelKnowledge of financial and ERP systemsAbility to influence and build strong business partnershipsAbility to switch quickly and effectively between high level strategic thinking / analysis to detailed reviews/deep divesStrong analytic skills; able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive changeGood verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate results in a clear/concise mannerStrong business acumen, ability to translate large sets of data into meaningful analysis to support business decision making and strategic direction Apply
