As a Construction Estimator, you will be crucial in preparing comprehensive estimates for diverse projects from inception to contract award. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and five years of estimating experience across various sectors, including defence and commercial industries. Highlighting your analytical skills will be essential in translating client specifications into actionable estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare conceptual and detailed cost estimates
- Complete quantity take-offs from project documentation
- Review and analyze requests for proposals
- Collaborate with Supply Chain on procurement tactics
- Support project delivery with effective risk management
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in relevant field, such as Engineering
- At least 5 years of progressive estimating experience
- Strong understanding of construction practices and pricing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and document management systems
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
