The Human Resources Coordinator will provide essential support to GIP Island Construction management and employees. The position will play a vital role helping connect GIP Island Construction to the broader GIP team. Responsibilities will include coordinating hiring, onboarding, benefits enrollment, and by liaising with the corporate Human Resources and Payroll team to support efficient and timely processing of employees' pay. The successful candidate will ensure that employee-related processes run efficiently and effectively, ensuring a positive employee experience.Primary Scope of Role RecruitingCoordinate end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, interview scheduling, and job offer administration.Draft and post job advertisements on internal and external job boards.Support the screening and selection process by reviewing resumes and conducting preliminary phone interviews.Onboarding and Employee Data ManagementCoordinate collection of new hire data for entry into HR system.Support employees with benefit and retirement plan enrollment and updates.Respond to employee enquiries related to vacation, time off, benefits, etc.Time CollectionCollect weekly timesheets for hourly employees, following up to ensure timely submission and approvals.Compile time reports and send to payroll adhering to any deadlines.Act as first point of contact for any employee time-related enquiries.Position RequirementsPost-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.2 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in a Human Resources role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Collaborative team player with a positive and proactive approach.Attention to detail and accuracy.About UsOur PeopleAt Green Infrastructure Partners (GIP), our people are second to none.
