At EHN Complex Needs Emergency Facility, we seek a qualified Security Officer to ensure safety and monitor environments. You will utilize de-escalation techniques and respond to crises effectively while conducting site patrols and monitoring CCTV systems. This role emphasizes the importance of compassionate care in a challenging setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to service calls using de-escalation techniques
- Conduct proactive foot patrols and site surveillance
- Ensure safety for clients and staff at all times
- Manage key control and conduct daily inspections
- Provide training to new employees on procedures
Requirements:
- Valid Saskatchewan Security Guard Certificate or equivalent experience
- Minimum one year of security experience in healthcare
- Clean Criminal Record documentation required
- Certification in mental health crisis intervention is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs when necessary
