Fraser Health is hiring a Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse to enhance team-based patient care. This role revolves around respecting patient choices and implementing individualized care plans in a culturally safe manner. Key skills include assessing health conditions and collaboratory decision-making with care teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with teams on identifying and addressing care concerns
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and care documentation
- Educate clients and families about their care options
- Promote patient rights and involvement in their care
- Participate in quality improvement projects
Requirements:
- Successful graduation from Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing program
- Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses
- One year of gerontological experience preferred
- Level 1 First Aid certification
- Strong leadership abilities and clinical guidance
