Join AltaGas as an Advisor in EHS, directly impacting the Ridley Island Energy Export Facility's operations. Engage in commissioning and continuous safety practices for a leading Canadian energy asset.
This role, requiring 1-3 years of EHS experience, focuses on supporting safe work environments by leading safety discussions and participating in audits. You'll partner closely with operations and contractors to foster compliance in all aspects of work. Your problem-solving skills and commitment to stewardship will be vital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate safe work practices during commissioning phases
- Engage in toolbox talks and lead safety orientations
- Perform field inspections and audits for compliance
- Support incident response, including root cause analysis
- Help with emergency preparedness and regulatory reporting
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of practical EHS experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Preferred education in Occupational Health & Safety
- Familiarity with energy and regulated environments is beneficial
