Description: The Specialty Registered Nurse can be assigned to a unit with patients requiring more complex care.
The Specialty Registered Nurse is responsible for the overall coordination and direction of nursing care.
This role provides clinical leadership, particularly in complex or unpredictable patient care settings.
The Specialty Registered Nurse possesses the knowledge, skill, and judgment needed to deliver competent, evidence-based nursing practice.
As a member of a collaborative care team, the Specialty Registered Nurse works with other disciplines to coordinate care to achieve desired patient and family outcomes.
This position contributes to the efficient and effective functioning of the service and coordination of patient care.
The Specialty Registered Nurse complies with documentation processes.
