Kickstart your leadership career with Amazon as an Area Manager Intern this summer. Gain hands-on experience managing a team of associates in a dynamic warehouse environment.
This 10-week internship, integrating into Amazon's Operations, focuses on coaching and mentoring as you oversee 50-100 associates. You'll drive continuous improvement initiatives through a summer project while learning to manage day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and manage a team of Amazon Associates
- Develop and drive an intern project for improvements
- Operate in an autonomous team environment
- Oversee truck deliveries and handle packages
- Conduct team huddles and ensure operational readiness
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Relevant studies in Supply Chain or Business/Management
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds regularly
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
