The Opportunity
As a Oracle Payroll lead, unlock your potential and embrace the chance to drive meaningful outcomes that'll elevate your career. Your role will include, but isn't limited to:
Facilitate discovery, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, payroll reconciliation and solution design workshops focused on Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll with business and IT stakeholders.
Own the functional design and configuration of the Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll module, ensuring alignment with business requirements, compliance needs, and Oracle leading practices.
Provide subject matter expertise on payroll processes, including payroll elements, balances, fast formulas, costing, payment methods, payroll flows, and legislative requirements.
Develop and maintain key project deliverables, such as solution design documents, configuration workbooks, interface specifications, conversion mapping documents, and process maps.
Collaborate with project managers on plans, RAID logs, resource estimates, and status reporting; elevate risks and drive mitigation
Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, reports, data conversions, and extensions that support payroll processing and downstream financial or third-party vendor requirements.
Provide cross-functional guidance on upstream and downstream impacts across related Oracle HCM modules, including Core HR, Absence Management, Time and Labor, Benefits, and Compensation.
Demonstrate hands‐on experience across the full implementation lifecycle, including discovery, design, payroll configuration and reconciliation, security, integrations, data conversion, payroll balancing, reporting, testing, training, cutover, go‐live, and post‐production hypercare.
Hands‐on proficiency with:
Configuration: HCM design studio, page composer, Redwood UX, journeys/Oracle ME.
Data migration: HDL/HSDL, Spreadsheet Loader, HCM Extracts.
Reporting: OTBI, BI Publisher, dashboards, KPIs.
Integrations: OIC/ICS, REST/SOAP APIs, HCM Extracts, SFTP/file‐based.
Fast Formulas (Absence, Benefits, Payroll, Time), payroll elements, balances (if applicable).
Security: role design, duty roles, aggregate privileges, data roles, approval workflows.
Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills; ability to translate complex concepts into business‐friendly language.
Oracle Cloud HCM Implementation Specialist certifications in one or more modules (e.g., Payroll, Global Human Resources, Absence Management, Time and Labor, Compensation, Recruiting, Benefits) strongly preferred.

Minimum 6 Yrs. of relevant experience in Oracle Cloud HCM
Must have worked on a minimum of 2 end‐to‐end payroll implementations
The candidate is expected to be able to work independently and as part of a team, being able todemonstratean ability to develop other colleagues
Must have at least 2 full projects experience, through go live, including payroll reconciliation. Ability to understand, analyze and solve both explicit and implicit requirements

The salary range for this position is $112,400 - $162,400. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location.
